Compensation Disclosure

How Affiliate Relationships Work
When the Institute presents vendor options or service recommendations following a cost analysis, links to those vendors may contain affiliate tracking parameters. These parameters allow the vendor or affiliate network to attribute any subsequent qualifying action to the Institute. The process operates as follows:
- A user completes a cost analysis using one of the Institute's interactive tools
- Based on the analysis results, the tool may present relevant vendor options that address the user's identified needs
- If the user chooses to visit a vendor's website through a link on this site, the link may include an affiliate tracking identifier
- If the user subsequently completes a qualifying action on the vendor's website (such as a purchase, trial signup, or demo request), the affiliate network records the referral
- The Institute receives a commission or referral fee from the vendor or affiliate network, at no additional cost to the user
The user is never charged more as a result of using an affiliate link. Affiliate commissions are paid by the vendor, not by the user.
